How To Help Your Child Stop Coughing
The key point here is that when you start to do this you may feel a little uncomfortable. In the past when there was a slight tickle in your throat or a feeling of 'lumpiness' in your chest, you coughed and had short term relief.
Now you must use your willpower to not cough at all if possible. If you absolutely must cough, you do one with your mouth closed. It is a bit like throat clearing before speaking. The air is released only through your nose.
If there is some mucus right there, obviously do not allow yourself to choke. The goal is to not allow any more CO2 to escape than necessary.
[Remember the more you cough, the more CO2 you release, the more mucus you produce, the more you cough.]
Within a short time of not coughing, and practicing 'shallow breathing' [which we will learn later it simply traps more CO2 in.], you will notice the 'tickle' has gone.
A little story about this relates to my partner's father. He at one time was the caretaker of quarters for temporary accommodation for children.
He had a simple rule that said that 'No-one is allowed to be ill'. He is a caring old marshmallow, but could give the impression of a stern military man. In their efforts to please him, the children would suppress their asthmatic [at that time called 'bronchitis'] cough. Within a short time even the urge to cough would be gone, and the child would have seemingly 'grown out of it.'
Coughing is often a very simple and effective way to get affection and attention for children. The mechanism is unconscious, but all they have to do is increase their breathing or run around madly with uncontrolled breathing, and the coughing or wheezing will start.
You may have seen children who become upset, carry on for a while, and then develop a really excellent 'asthmatic' attack. This is real asthma, not psychosomatic, it can be dangerous and is often fatal.
The rules are simple. They are not allowed to cough [the dry asthmatic cough], and must be very still and reduce their breathing just as the adults learn to do. A very effective asthma stopper in children is be very still, place their forefinger under their nose, and breathe in and out in such small breaths that they can hardly feel the air from their nose on their finger. ['Breathe like a tiny little mouse'] In a short time the attack will abate.
Obviously, you must use common sense in an emergency, and follow any medical regime outlined for the child. This technique should be learned by the child in a non-emergency, and be used at the first sign of any problems, to totally avoid the emergency situation.
In a large number of my personal cases, all that was required is an explanation to the child of the cause of the problem, a short practice on what to do if their throat gets 'tickley', and the general strict instructions to 'Keep your mouth closed' and 'Dont Cough'. [Unless they are choking.]
This one session is often sufficient to stop all symptoms of asthma.

Home Remedies to Kill Fleas
A nasty annoying pest called the flea plagues both humans and animals alike. Although there are plenty of chemicals you can buy to kill these pests, most people would rather use home remedies for fleas. Chemicals can hurt both the fleas and your pets, and could do harm to you and your children. Before there were pesticides and other flea killers, people used old-fashioned home remedies to kill fleas.
The various ways and techniques we use to get rid of fleas today do not always give us the expected results. Side effects and short-lived extermination accompany the many ways we get rid of these vile pests. Prednisone and corticosteroid are drugs that are used to remedy fleabites. However, they weaken the immune system. There are chemicals on the market that are very successful in killing fleas but they are poisonous and could pose a threat in the long-term. There are plenty of negatives to using drugs and chemicals to kill fleas. One should take note that making their homes and bodies toxic waste dumps to kill the fleas just to have them return makes no sense. Home remedies for fleas are the way to go.
Some natural ways of ridding your home of these vile creatures are to keep your house as clean as possible, indoors and outdoors, carpets and floors, and every corner of your home should be vacuumed on a daily basis. I know vacuuming everyday can be a hustle for some people, however, that's the price one must pay to keep pets. Because fleas can jump far distances, food should be covered, and all food spills cleaned up quickly. Fleas do not eat food, but they can spread disease when they encounter food. According to experts, a clean home is not an attractive place for fleas. Watery areas is also considered a breeding place for fleas, all water should be mopped up immediately. Check pipes and faucets to make sure there are no leaks. If pesticides are the route you would like to take, use the less harmful natural ones. Other natural home remedies for fleas are coriander, bay leaves, dill, lemon peel, and cloves. Placing these items in cabinets and cupboards will keep fleas away from infesting these areas where food is stored.
Pets can appear less attractive to fleas if their given diets rich in essential fatty acids which strengthens their immune system. It is also essential that your pets bedding be washed on a regular basis. Keeping fleas away from your home and your pet is possible by following these simple steps.

Your Mouse Population in Your House
You might have some real problems if you turn on the lights, and you see a couple of mice running for the hills. You might have a real pest control problem. Do not run yourself! The longer you avoid the problem, the more it will grow.
In order to understand why, you need to understand a mouse a little bit better. Mice are really nocturnal creatures, meaning they like the dark. If you turn on the lights and they run, there are many hiding behind the scene, watching you and their friends interact. Many times, the younger, braver mice, will venture out even with noises present. Many mice, will just hide in their nesting areas, waiting for quiet and darkness.
Mice have bad vision, and this may be because they have adapted to running in underground burrows, and in tight dark areas. They have excellent hearing and can hear beyond what humans can hear. That is why an ultrasonic wave plug-in can be bothersome for them, but not us. They use the high frequency of 90kHz when they are babies, to scream a warning to their mother, if a predator is near. That is why you might happen on a nest, and if mom is no where to be found, she will suddenly show up!
Since humans can only hear up to 20kHz, we are missing a lot of chatter. If you can not hear the noises, you are really lacking the information to understand how many may be in your walls of your home!
And, since mice are great at raising babies, and can have around 48 a year, you are going to have more than you probably thought you have. They are fertile as young as 6 weeks old, most at 8 weeks, and that means an exponential growth factor, with the right conditions.
If you have a warm place, around 75 degrees, lots of water and food present, humidity levels of around 55%, you are going to have lots of mice if a group finds a way in. They are usually happy to evacuate if you have too many variables, like little food, or the place is too dry for them. They also need to be able to nest in a dark area, so if that is not available, it can be easier to go somewhere else.
Your best defense is to learn more about mice and how their needs will lead them to a successful capture on your part. If you have little time to manage this problem, find another family member to help. Exterminators will be expensive, but well worth the money, if you catch the problem before it gets too large.
Remember, removing mice from your home can be a process, and will take time. Some mice prefer to sit tight, and watch how the traps work, thus making capture difficult. Here are 3 steps you can take to start your rodent control process:
Set out baited snap traps at night, but do not set them! You can try this to let the group get some eaxy eats, and see how they like the bait too. Try a combo of peanut butter and jelly. Baited traps set at day 8! You might want to wait until you have all traps eaten on, and food removed completely. If you are not getting any takers, change to crackers, sugary candies, or something gooey like sour creme. Then on night 8 or so, set the traps. Chances are, you are going to catch some mice! Think about buying an Electronic Trap. If you have the money, these traps can work with your population of dumb mice. They seem to work on some mice better than others, but are a great humane way to remove mice from your home. It can remove around 10-15 mice in one night!
Keep on your hunt, and do not get discouraged. You are going to catch them all, and it will take some time. Just when you think you have caught them all, set out another trap, and see what happens.

SC2 - Protoss Strategy Guide
We are going to give you a basic small tutorial with protoss. This is a real time strategy obviously, and we are going to give you a nice beginner to advanced level.
As you probably know the Protoss are the more advanced type race in there. They are psy energy and technology centered, and they are incredible because of their chrono boost ability and the fact that one probe can create multiple buildings at once!
Meaning, you can simply warp in a structure and make that probe either scout, harvest or mine; or do all other sorts of things; you want to use this to your advantage.
Quick Beginner Tips
When you first start, you want to make sure that you use probes, usually all of them for most orders and begin mining them.
Chrono boost will increase the speed of production for 20 seconds. It's always a good idea to use this to your advantage.
You always also want to make sure that your most important structures are powered by more than one pylon simply because if one is shot down, then your structure that highly important will not help you, it will not be powered.
More Tips (Slighly More Advanced)
When using protoss, you want to make sure that you use walls, just like terrans do, but you want to create walls differently, you want to create walls, but it is going to be considerably different than regular Terrans.
Terrans can completely wall themselves in because their supply depots can lower themselves, barracks can lift off, they are a very versatile and mobile race, but Protoss, they're kinda, well stuck there.
So you want to rather create choke points where your ramp is, but leave open one grid so that zerglings have to attack your zealot one at a time.
This will create easy work. Zerglings won't be able to speed rush you and gang up on your zealots, you'll be able to gang up on them without take much damage at all actually.
Chrono bost is great because it increases the production of the units by 50% and it will last for a total of 20 seconds, it costs 25 energy and your Nexus is the structure that can cast this on the specific units or structures. The best thing to do this and to micro your upgrades better is to hotkey your Nexus so that you can access it quickly.
I also love talking about the void ray, but when facing a group of marines, you want to stay away from the common trap of fighting them because marines (especially stim packed) will kill your void rays.
Void rays are great for destroying objects with high hp and units that have a lot of health. Definitely use these mini strategies to your advantage; and you should start seeing more wins!

Humane Mouse Traps Or Traditional Mouse Traps - Which Should You Choose?
If you have a pest problem and don't know what to do, you'll want to see what options are available. You want to get rid of them quickly and efficiently but you don't want to be left with a big mess. You also don't want to create a potentially dangerous situation in your home. Some traditional traps can be hazardous to you and the members of your family - even the furry ones!
You also want to be cost-conscious since no one likes buying something they're just going to throw away after one use. If you have any of these concerns, then you should consider getting a humane mouse trap. Unlike traditional mouse traps, these pest removal devices are reusable and can easily be stored when not in use. Since there's no blood and nobody left behind, they're a cleaner and safer option.
Traditional mouse traps use snapping mechanisms or glue leaving a carcass for you to handle. This means they cannot be reused since rodents often carry disease and you'll want to handle those traps as little as possible. Some traditional traps even use poison to lure the furry intruders and you may not want to have those kinds of chemicals in your home. Traditional traps generate trash so they're not very eco-friendly either.
Humane mouse traps can be set up anywhere in your house. They work by luring the critters inside while a door closes behind them preventing them from escaping. You can put any treat you'd like inside as bait and the mouse will be happily fed as it waits for you to release it back into the wild. Many have delayed release features so you'll never have to come directly in contact with the mouse.
Whether you're an animal lover or not, you can see how humane mouse traps benefit everyone involved. With no mess to clean, you're less likely to come in contact with any rodent-transmitted diseases and your pest problem will be handled quickly and cheaply. The critters will be glad you made this choice, too, as they won't be made to suffer needlessly.
